We're hosting a free BBQ for builders, carpenters and apprentices in the Sutherland area to celebrate National Carpenters Day.

In 2009, National Carpenters Day was Australia’s first occasion to recognise the contribution hard working carpenters made to our lives. To thank as many carpenters as possible in 2010, National Carpenters Day will be celebrated at BBQ events throughout Australia.

Alliance People Solutions delivers ACCESS Federally Funded Pre-apprenticeship courses. Their courses are aimed at up-skilling job candidates and assisting them to determine if this is the trade that they wish to pursue a career in. The Carpentry/Joinery courses that we have recently run at TAFE -Gymea Campus have been very successful with many of the candidates securing apprenticeships.
