Broadcast Builder’s Privacy Policy has been developed to ensure that we respect our subscribers and clients and also, to fulfill our obligations under the Privacy Act 1988 (including the new National Privacy Principles).

What do we collect from you?

When you subscribe to Broadcast Builder we ask you for the following personal information

• Personal Name
• Email address
• Contact phone number
• Mailing Address
• Type of employment

Further to your subscription details, we collect and keep personal information about your e-learning results and the feedback that you provide when completing evaluation activities.

Broadcast Builder also makes use of Search Engine Optimisation technology. This means that we collect data that can be used to make our website easier to find and to provide sponsors with non personal information about the amount of people who access our site, the way they navigate the site, the parts of the site they visit etc. Search Engine Optimisation technology only collects anonymous data. You are not individually identified.

What do we do with your personal information?

Maintain an up to date subscribers database so that we can mail you copies of Broadcast Builder, issue you with certificates and conduct internal marketing research.

Keep records of prize winners and send out prizes.

We will only pass your CPD records to licensing authorities if we have your express permission to do so. Otherwise we will keep the records secure in house.

Provide anonymous information to Broadcast Builder sponsors in the form of a Return on Investment (ROI) Summary. Our ROI Summary is generated for each sponsor of a segment three months after the segment has been released. It is designed to assist sponsors to measure their Return on Investment. Our ROI Summary does not contain any data that can indentify individual respondents.

We will not provide your contact details to any other company without your express permission.

If Broadcast Builder wishes to change the way we use your personal information will ask for your consent prior to such use.

Information security and integrity

Broadcast Builder has developed a range of security procedures to take care of your personal information. These include internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and physical and electronic security measures such as keys, back-up’s, and password protection.
